10/30/05 update. Hurried IVF ended in miscarriage

A 36-yr-old patient from Orange County who had failed 2 IVF prior to seeing Dr. Lee. After only 3 treatments with acupuncture but without herbs (per her RE), she was not totally optimized. But, her IVF cycle was to start. She got pregnant for 3 weeks and miscarried on 11/14/05.

Bottom line: It is better to fully optimized the body before starting the IVF even it means taking an additional one or two months for the preparation. In the end, it will save both time and money.
